Tim...AKA *Poohbah* how have you been? Living in the States now I see. Hope life is treating you fair and square. I was in contact with your sister and she says that she will be attending the reunion. I hope to be able to fly in for that week and meet up with old alumni. See how many faces I can put names to. Do you have plans to attend? It would be cool to meet up again after 31 yrs...(gads!! almost a 1/3 of a century!)

I remember you (but I had to check out the year book!) Sounds so fabulous and I have been trying to get in touch with all the band alumni! So many are still in Ottawa! Dave Arthur is trying to get a gang of ol' Los Ochos Bandidos" together and anyone who was daring enough to plug into "Emo Gouch and the Seldom Fed Seven', but we won't hold our breath. Although I am in Calgary, am trying to get my better half (John Harper) to get it together and come along for the "blast from the past" reunion trip! So all you "Junior Bird Squad Society" types, and you know who you are....lets see if we can't connect and get back to the best school we ever knew!

Really looking forward to seeing everyone in June in the place it all began! Let's organize some "euchre" games - Wayne Rainville where are you? Any other takers??
I got a message from Bryan Chapman, however, in their usual way, Classmates says that he doesn't exist - how does one respond to someone who doesn't exist? Anyone know how to get in touch with Bryan Chapman? Bryan, or any of my other friends/people who want to come back and haunt me, if you find this site, I can be emailed at the U of A (aboddy@ualberta.ca).
See everyone in a few months! Alison

Hi everybody. I had breakfast this morning with Roger Greenberg, he mentioned the reunion and said that he would send me the link.
Of course, I couldn't wait... ;D
Great site - I'll see what I can do to spread the word. I may be able to reach a couple of teachers as well.

This takes me back a few years. I recognize the names but can't find my darn yearbook to put them to faces. Unfortunately I will not be at the reunion but will be in Ottawa next weekend. Haven't been back in twenty odd years and probably take me that long to get back again. Going to hang with Duby and Karen and who ever else I can find. Maybe see you walking down the street. Better wear a name tag.

Hey Alison,
I graduated in 73 although it was supposed to be 74. I was in Orange House (Mrs.Sciortino's home room). And I too remember our school song (I've been hummng it endlessly for the past few days ever since I accidentally hit upon this site).
I'm really looking forward to the reunion .... I never thought it would happen.

Hi Sally,
we've talked through classmates. I'm looking forward to seeing you in Ottawa. We'll have to go take a look at the old neighbourhood.

Hey Stephanie,
I don't remember you but will check my yearbook. I was in Green house and was in Mr. Ryckman's home room (Drafting). I can remember vividly not being able to easily climb onto the "stools" that served as chairs for our drafting tables! I also never recalled the school song, nor did I remember that there was one! I now have the words, thanks to folks on this Forum and elsewhere! It should be sung at all the FPHI events (Pub night, etc.). Perhaps songsheets could be prepared for those people who don't keep that kind of stuff in their head! Booked my flight to Ottawa a week ago - looking forward to partying with one and all and especially drinking LEGALLY on school property! Hope to see you there.

I certainly remember you Alison. How are you? I also can belt out the old fight song with the best of them.
I also remember the yearbook name. In fact I use Fipahi as my screen name at several sites! It does take some explaining!

Hi Margot - I remember you too! I am great and hope you are too. I live in Edmonton (since 1980) and work at the University of Alberta. I envy all you folk who say you remember the song.....can't wait to hear you all "belt it out" (after a few cocktails of course)! Looking forward to "blasting into the past" and seeing everyone in June.
And, hey all - you still have a couple of months to make yourselves look like you did back when!!!!! The 70's fashions (bell bottoms, etc.) are once again the fashions of today! Just hoping that shoulder pads and other such relics don't return.

Hi all. Thought I'd let you know that Ron Hamelin, Neil Cumming , Ed Fletcher and I will be attending the festivities. We'll try and contact as many 73'ers as we can. Really looking forward to meeting all of my ex band-mates especially. We're leaving the Wives behind so watch out all you ex's!! ;D

To anyone in the class of '78. Looks like my commitments here in the Sault will keep me from getting to the reunion. It's interesting reading comments in the forum and guest book as it takes me down memory lane. I really enjoyed Fisher Park and hope the reunion is a grand success. annpiscopo810@hotmail.com
