Hello all,
Well were into the home stretch for planning the reunion and we need to start gathering Fisher memorabilia from the 80's.
If you have anything you can lend, please let me know. Hats, shirts, jackets, trophees, pictures, etc... We will tag your items to ensure you get them back and the room will be monitored whenever it is open.
If you can volunteer to help monitor the room at any point during the weekend for an hour or two (great way to reconnect with people from the same era), please let me know.
If you have ideas for the room, send them my way. Things that have been proposed so far: "Where are they now?" Famous Fisherites from the 80's, "Personal Bios", simple sheet that each person can complete and leave behind with details of what they've been up to since graduating, "no longer with us" - a tribute to classmates, friends and teachers who have passed away.
As always, your ideas, energy and time are always appreciated!
Thanks,
Brent (class of '86)

Great idea! I will have to start digging out some of my old boxes hidden away somewhere in my basement... I believe I still have some colour slides that I took, which were shown during the final assemblies in June for 83, 84 and 85... Also, some b&w video and b&w negatives as well...

I have an awesome little gem, a stout gold-rimmed wine glass that reads "PROM '87 A FISHER FANTASY" in red lettering on it. I can definitely bring it along. Hey I have those same glasses! I can also bring the 1982 Green House Girls Champion pennant that used to hang in the gym, several pictures from the hit musical "Bye Bye Birdie", and who knows what else once I delve into the numerous boxes of memorabilia in my basement!

Have had a few replies now for items to be displayed. Anyone have a connection for display cases of some sort so that we can protect the items on loan?
I will be creating a loan sheet for distribution to other Decade Room primes so that we can ensure that we get your items back to you at the end of the reunion.

Hey again,
We need volunteers to monitor the 80's decade room for an hour or two at a time during the reunion. We want to makes sure there is someone on hand to greet folks and keep an eye on the memorabilia.
This will be a great spot to connect people from the era you attended.
Get in touch and I'll sign you up.
Thanks,
Brent

Hey 80's people and Brent,
Looking forward to seeing eveyone.
Just wanted to let everyone know that if they bought a video yearbook back in 86 or 87 to bring it in for a replacement DVD version. There will be other DVD's there too.
